This article part of the portable campus setup series and is designed primarily for portable campuses.
This guide will walk you through connecting your TD, LX, and Songs cases to each other and the system as whole.
If your campus does not have split video and lighting cases you may skip to the next section.
Connect the TD and Songs Cases together.
- Run the loom from the Songs Case to the TD Case.
- Connect all labeled cables to their matching labeled spot on TD and then Songs Case.
Connect the LX Case to the TD Case.
- Run the loom from the LX Case to the TD Case.
- Connect all labeled cables to their matching labeled spot on TD and then LX Case.
Connect the wall patch and your TD Case.
- Run the loom from the Wall Plate to your TD Case.
- Then connect all labeled cables to their matching labeled spot on the TD Patch Panel.
- Connect all labeled cables to their matching labeled spot on the wall plate.
Connect the wall patch and your LX (Lighting) Case. To do this, run the loom from the Wall Plate to your LX Case. Connect all labeled cables to their matching labeled spot on the wall plate. Then connect all labeled cables to their matching labeled spot on the LX Patch Panel.
- Turn on the UPS (Battery Backup) in both TD and Songs Cases
- Wait 5 minutes
Skipping this step can lead to issues were the network drive used to download service files will not connect.
- Power on the iMacs and Login
- Power on the K2
- Power on the Dual Monitors
- Complete your checklist.
- Turn on the UPS (Battery Backup) in the LX Case
- Hold the power button on the UPS until it beeps, then release
The case should boot automatically, if it does not see troubleshooting below.
Computer fails to power on:
- Press the power switch located behind the front right door on the rack mounted computer.
Touch Screen fails to power on:
- Press the power button located on the bottom right of the screen.
Command Wing fails to power on:
- Flip the power switch located on the back right of the console surface.
GrandMA2 on PC fails to launch:
- Double click the GrandMA2 on PC icon on the desktop
- Click on “Screen 2” bottom left of the main window to bring up the proper page. Set the page to full screen using the “full screen” button in the upper right hand corner. Bring up the GrandMaster on the Command Wing
Press Go+ on the Command Wing to play into your Sunday List.
